They also host a monthly “Yappy Hour” where you and your puppy can mingle with furry friends and enjoy delicious food from a local food truck.

Bottledog Bites & Brews
While we are on the subject of beer, another great spot to check out is Bottledog Bites & Brews in Cary. This bar and bottle shop located off Chapel Hill Road is an excellent place to pick up a few bottles or sit and sip a while. With over 100 bottles, 12 taps, and a dog-friendly patio, this spot is the perfect place for you to quench your thirst and explore your beer palette.
Chatham Hill Winery
If wine is more your thing then you’ll definitely want to head on over to Chatham Hill Winery, located off Chapel Hill Road! While you enjoy your wine tasting your pet can also enjoy a tasty treat, and afterwards you can simply just sip and relax on their outdoor deck. They do have limited hours of operation so be sure to check before you and your pal stop by!
La Farm Bakery
What could be better than beer and dogs? Well quite possibly, a bakery and dogs! La Farm Bakery is truly a Cary staple and is located along Cary Parkway. Indulge in delectable treats and grab a cup of coffee before you head out on your outdoor adventure! If you can stay a while, then grab a spot at one of their outdoor tables. We highly recommend this for their Sunday brunch, and be sure to get their early enough to snag the perfect spot!
Woof Gang Bakery
While La Farm Bakery offers plenty of treats for you, you’ll want to check out Woof Gang Bakery in Cary to pick up treats for your pet! Located off of High House Road, this neighborhood pet store is a wonderful place to cure your pet’s sweet tooth. As an added bonus they pride themselves on offering not only delicious treats but make sure that they are all natural as well!
Downtown Cary
So after you and your pet indulge in your guilty pleasures, take a stroll through Cary’s charming downtown area. You’ll find there is plenty for you to explore, gorgeous sights to take in, and maybe make some friends along the way! If you’re a fan of local farmers markets then you’ll definitely want to check out the market in downtown which opens up every Saturday from 8:00am-12:30pm.
Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve
When it comes to outdoor adventures, there’s plenty to partake in with your pet in Cary! Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve is a wonderful place to explore and enjoy a little piece of tranquility on the outskirts of Cary. This 140-acre preserve features a 3 mile trail along with breathtaking scenic overlooks, perfect for taking a selfie with your fur baby!
Cary Dog Park
Want to give your pet a break from their leash? Then Cary Dog Park is the place to be! Just off of NC-54, this dog park is sure to make all the tails wag! The park features water stations, pet cleanup areas, and a separate area for small and large dogs. You can also have peace of mind that your puppy will be safe and sound because the Town of Cary requires that all dogs that enter provide proof of up to date vaccinations.
Fred G Bond Metro Park
Another fantastic park to take your sweet fur baby in Cary is Fred G Bond Metro Park. Located along High House Road, you’ll discover that there’s plenty to explore in this 310 acre oasis! Take a stroll or enjoy a run along the lake where you can give your pet a chance to cool off. This outdoor destination is also filled with picturesque spots that are truly worthy for the gram.
