Our Pet Sitters

You’ll receive real-time updates, pictures, notes, and report cards while you’re away. Additionally, you will have the ability to message your pet sitter directly and stay in the loop. Payment is made easy through our online portal. Plus, you won’t be invoiced until after everything has been said and done!
Hiring Pet Sitters – We Don’t Hire Just Anyone
Application & Questionnaire
We only hire employees. No 1099 contractors. Through a thorough application and questionnaire process, we determine if the candidate will be a great fit with consistent availability.
Background Check
We run a local and national background check to ensure their background is squeaky clean before hiring any employee. We don’t let just anyone enter your home and care for your pets.
Phone Interview
To further ensure we are hiring only the best dog walkers & pet sitters to care for your fur babies, we next schedule a phone interview with all of our prospective employees.
Red Cross First Aid & CPR
Our employees are required to go through the Red Cross’s Pet First Aid & CPR Training for an added level of insurance and peace of mind. We want everyone prepared just in case!
In-Person Interview
The next step allows us to meet our potential employees in person. We set up an interview near where they would be working to make sure they can arrive on time and to confirm they are a great fit.
On the Job Training
Before we let our employees care for your pets by themselves, they go through a series of on-the-job training visits with seasoned WoofPack veterans. This allows them to learn from the best!

He has had furry companions his entire life, both dogs and cats. Dick currently shares his house with two senior Korat females 17 years young.

Ashley
Pet Sitter
Ashley is a Registered Nurse originally from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. She has loved animals her whole life and particularly enjoys spoiling her 14 year old Black Lab mix, Nadya. As a mother she enjoys watching her son, Jai, train and compete in amateur wrestling.
Shortly after moving to Fuquay Varina in June 2020 she was in a terrible car accident and ended up in the hospital for a month. Getting pet visits from volunteers while in the hospital and missing her own pup Nayda, did wonders for her mental state and played a significant role in her recovery.
After her experience in the hospital and with her love of furry friends as well as her experience caring for people as a nurse, becoming a pet sitter was an easy and natural choice.

Kayleigh
Pet Sitter
Kayleigh relocated to Fuquay Varina back in 2006 with her parents and younger sister.
In 2015 they adopted their first of several fur babies, a puppers named Boomer. Fast forward to 2019 and they adopted two more dogs, Sadie and Karma. And while Boomer and Sadie don’t really enjoy being outside for too long, Kayleigh and Karma do enjoy the outdoors, going hiking on the weekends and playing in any big field they can find.
She enjoys walking and playing with dogs of all shapes and sizes and loves getting to know and taking care of all kinds of different pets and has cared for many different types of cats, fish, lizards, bunnies, and more!

Ria
Pet Sitter
A native North Carolinian, Ria was born and raised in Raleigh before moving with her family to Holly Springs in 2014.
Never having grown up with pets Ria feels it was the best day of her life when her and her family adopted their pup Misty in 2019. Misty and Ria quickly bonded and there’s nothing they love more than a nice long walk and then hanging out on the couch sharing some snacks!
During her year plus working as a kennel technician she has enjoyed working with and meeting all kinds of pets, including some exotic ones such as birds and reptiles. Any day Ria can spend around animals is a great one in her book!

Red
Pet Sitter
Kaleigh “Red”, was born in Raleigh but grew up as an Army brat and returned to North Carolina after her dad retired from the military.
She currently attends NC State where she is working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in History and then plans to go on to Law School after that!
Red has had pets for most of her life and quite a variety of them as well! She’s had dogs (mostly big dogs), cats, different types of geckos, and a turtle. She currently enjoys her 2 cats, Nahla & Tuna, and her leopard gecko named Dotty. They mean the world to her and bring her endless joy and happiness, which is why she’s the huge animal lover she is today and is also why she has joined the Woofpack team so that she can bring that same love and caring to all of your pets too!

Laura
Pet Sitter
Laura was born and raised in Northern VA where she grew up with lots of pets including a miniature schnauzer, hamsters and guinea pigs.
Laura is a lifetime animal lover and advocate. In 2005, she moved to Raleigh with her four cats in tow. She just couldn’t help but adopt them when they would show up at her door needing a family. After moving to Raleigh, she also had lots of fun raising 6 chickens that quickly became part of the family.
Laura practiced as an RN and a massage therapist for many years before having children. Currently, she lives with her husband, two children, a lab shepherd mix and tuxedo cat.

Alexis
Pet Sitter
Alexis is a native North Carolinian who was born and raised in Raleigh and is pursuing her advanced education at James Madison University.
She has been an animal lover her whole life and grew up with her beloved Golden Doodle, Molly, as well as several guinea pigs to boot!
Alexis has been a frequent volunteer at the SPCA helping to care for all the animals surrendered there and providing them with all the love and comfort they deserve!
